Which type of simulator do you have?

It is a Boeing 737 NG simulator. The B737 is the largest-selling airliner in the world, in competition with the famous Airbus A320.

Do you have a motion system beneath your flight simulator?

No. No, we do not have a motion system. Nonetheless, the HD image projected on the 220° wraparound screen, combined with our vibrating seats, will provide you with a sensation of motion.

Is your flight simulator certified ?

NoNo. In order to make the simulator accessible to every budget, we have not initiated the certification process (FNPT1, FNPT2, FFS etc.). Nevertheless, our simulator complies with the standards.

How realistic is your simulator ?

Our cockpit is a 1/1 scale Boeing 737-800 NG cockpit replica. Moreover, some parts of the simulator are original Boeing parts.

Is there a minimum age to fly the simulator ?

The minimum age is 10. There is no maximum age limit.

Is there a dress code during the visit?

It is highly recommended to wear closed shoes. Clothes that could block the mechanics or the proper functioning of the simulator are forbidden.

Is any knowledge of flying or aeronautics required?

No. This is the concept of our flight simulation center. You can have access to our « Fly for fun » offers without any prior experience. Our instructors are all professional pilots and will provide you with step by step guidance so that you can enjoy the experience.

Who flies the simulator during the « Fly for fun » session ?

You will be sitting in the pilot's seat at the controls of the aircraft. Your instructor will assist you as co-pilot and will only intervene on the controls if a crash is imminent.

Is the briefing accessible to everyone and is it hard to fly the simulator?

Unfortunately not, because flying the aircraft requires perfect mobility.

How are the vouchers delivered?

There are two options. You will automatically receive an order confirmation email during your online purchase.
That confirmation email acts as a voucher. If you have chosen the ‘Gift voucher' option to receive by post, you will receive a real boarding pass by post, which you will be able to offer as a gift.

Can I postpone or cancel a booking?

Yes. You can modify or cancel a booking up to 48 hours before your flight.

Is it necessary to arrive early?

No. It is not necessary to come early. However, for organisational reasons we will not be able to extend your flight if you arrive late.

Which documents do I need to bring with me?

You must bring either a copy of the order confirmation email or the boarding pass with your unique flight number. For safety reasons, all participants will be required to provide valid ID with a photograph.

I am not a pilot but I would like to book the simulator alone or book a pilot flight pack.

Pilot flight packs are only available to professional pilots. Minimum requirements are a valid instrument rating (IFR). If you wish to fly alone in the simulator, you will have to join the club and follow a short training course.

Can I choose my flight plan, origin, destination and weather?

Yes. You can set up your own flight as long as your requests are feasible during the period of time allocated to you. It is preferable to inform us of your plan beforehand in order not to waste any time in preparation on the day of your booking.

Can I come accompanied for my flight ?

Yes. The briefing is limited to 10 persons. There are 4 seats in the simulator as well: one for you, one for your instructor and two observer seats. If there are more people in your group, there is a reception area next to the simulator, where everything happening inside the simulator is retransmitted live on a giant HD screen.

Is it possible to take photos and record videos ?

Yes. We encourage you to do so and to spread your media as widely as possible.

Is any knowledge of aviation required to make a flight?

No. The aim of European Flight Simulator is to allow anyone to discover the sensations you feel at the controls of an airliner. The instructor, a professional pilot who will follow you all along the adventure, will adapt to your level of aeronautical knowledge.

Is there an order to respect for the offers?

No. You can for example take a 90-minute ‘Adventure' pack without having tried the ‘Discovery' or ‘Rookie' packs beforehand.

Will I get a souvenir of the flight ?

Yes. All of our flights are recorded by a camera placed in the cockpit. It is possible to purchase the ‘Flight Video' option and receive a video recording of your flight on a USB stick..
