Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

You have a question ? Then you have come to the right place!
Here is a list of questions that are frequently asked by our customers before their flight:

What is European Flight Simulator?

The answer is here.

Where is European Flight Simulator located?

We are located at 4 Chaussée de Bruxelles in 1470 Genappe in Belgium.

What are the opening hours of European Flight Simulator?

How many flight simulators do you have?

We have a Boeing 737 NG simulator.

What type of flight simulator do you have?

It is a Boeing 737-800 NG simulator. The best-selling airliner in the world competes with the Airbus A320.

Do you have a motion system under your simulator?

No. We don't have a Motion system. Nevertheless, the HD image projected on the 220 ° panoramic screen, combined with our vibrating seats, will give you the impression of movement.

Do you have certification on your simulator?

No. In order to make the simulator accessible to everyone, we have not started the certification process (FNPT1, FNPT2, FFS…). Our simulator nevertheless meets the requirements of this process.

What degree of reality do you manage to obtain?

Our cockpit is an exact 1: 1 scale replica of that of the Boeing 737-800 NG. Some parts of the simulator are also original Boeing parts.

Is there a minimum age to fly the simulator?

The minimum age is 12 years old. There is no upper age limit. It is best to measure at least 1,50 m to fully benefit from your experience and to reach all the flight controls.

Is there a dress code when visiting?

It is strongly recommended to wear closed shoes. Loose clothing that could interfere with the mechanics or the proper functioning of the simulator is prohibited.

Do you need to have knowledge of piloting or aeronautics?

No. This is the very concept of our aerial simulation center. You can access our “Fly for fun” offers without any prior experience. Our instructors are all professional pilots who will guide you step by step so that you can fully enjoy the experience.

Who pilots the simulator during the “Fly for fun” sessions?

You will be in control of the aircraft, seated in the captain's seat. Your instructor will assist you as co-pilot and intervene on the controls only if a crash is imminent.

Is the briefing accessible to everyone and is it difficult to pilot the simulator?

The briefing as well as the various “Fly for fun” flight offers are accessible to all. If you have more advanced knowledge, do not hesitate to tell your instructor. He will adapt the briefing as well as the complexity of the flight.

Do I have to make an appointment in advance to make the flight?

Yes. We operate exclusively on reservation via our website Or your customer account.

Where and how to buy a flight pack?

You can make the purchase directly on our platform online e-commerce or at the reception desk of our aerial simulation center.

Can we buy and book a “Fly for fun” flight for someone else?

Yes. Our gift vouchers will make a splash with your friends and family!

Is the center accessible to people with reduced mobility?

Unfortunately not, because piloting requires perfect mobility.

How are the gift vouchers delivered?

There are two possibilities. You automatically receive an order confirmation email when you purchase online. This confirmation email serves as a gift voucher. If you have selected the "Gift voucher" option to receive by mail, you will receive a real boarding coupon by post, which you can offer as a gift.

What is the validity of your gift vouchers?

All our flight offers are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.

Can I postpone or cancel a reservation?

Do you have to arrive in advance?

No. It is not necessary to arrive early. However, for organizational reasons, we cannot extend your flight if you arrive late.

What do I need as a document during my visit?

You must provide us, during your visit, with a copy of the order confirmation email or the boarding pass with your unique flight number. For security, all participants are required to provide a valid photo ID.

Can I come accompany for my flight?

Yes. The briefing is limited to 10 people. There are also 4 places in the simulator: one for you, one for your instructor as well as two observer places. If more of you come, there is a reception area next to the simulator where what's happening in the simulator is broadcast live on a giant HD screen.

Can we take photos and film?

Yes. We encourage you to do so and to disseminate your media as widely as possible.

Do you have to have aviation knowledge to make a flight?

No. The goal of European Flight Simulator is to allow everyone to know the sensations that one feels at the controls of an airliner. The instructor, professional pilot, who will accompany you throughout the adventure, adapts to your level of aeronautical knowledge.

Do we have to respect an order in the offers?

No. You can, for example, take a 90-minute "Adventure" pack without first trying the "Discovery" or "Rookie" packs.

Will I have a memory of the flight?

Yes. All our flights are filmed by a camera placed in the cockpit. It is possible to take the “Flight video” option to receive a video recording of your flight on a USB key.

Our packs are valid for one year from the date of purchase. After this period, you can extend its validity (one additional year) thanks to our extension pack.
